Ventura Girls Fastpitch is proud to celebrate our 50th year of providing girls in our community with the opportunity to build character, courage, and loyalty through the game of softball. For five decades, we’ve created a fun, safe, affordable, and competitive environment where every girl—regardless of experience or ability—can play, grow, and thrive. We remain the only youth softball league representing the city of Ventura, and we are honored to continue this legacy with our incredible players and families.

VGFP 2026 Spring Season Key Dates

As we gear up for the Ventura Girls Fastpitch (VGFP) 2026 Spring season, please review and note the following key dates to ensure a smooth registration and preparation process for all players and families:

Registration & Pricing Deadlines

• Early Bird Pricing Ends: November 15th
• SELECT Registration Opens (for advanced players): December 1st
• Note: You must be registered for Spring to be eligible for SELECT registration.
• Spring ’24 Registration Closes: January 2nd, 2026 or when divisions are full

Uniform Sizing Events

• 1st Uniform Sizing: Thursday, December 18th, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Location: Ventura Moose Lodge, 10269 Telephone Rd, Ventura (Fireside Room)
• 2nd Uniform Sizing: Saturday, January 10th – Held during Evaluations

Player Evaluations

• Select Evaluations: Friday, January 9th (only registered Select players)
• Spring Rec Player Evaluations: Saturday, January 10th, All players are required. Times will be announced soon.

Season Kickoff & Practice Start

• Practices May Begin: Week of February 1st
• Spring ’24 Opening Day: Saturday, February 21st
